McMANUS—In this city, December 23, 1959, Frank J., beloved husband of Catherine McManus, loving father of Mrs. Frances Ayoob, Mrs. Dorothy A. Keays and Allen McManus, idolized grandfather of George and Nancy Ayoob, William and Robert Keays and Maureen McManus, devoted father-in-law of George Ayoob, William J. Keays and Patricia McManus; a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.
Friends may call after 5 p. m. Friday and are invited to attend the funeral Monday at 9:30 a. m., from the Evergreen Mortuary of McAvoy-O’Hara Co., Geary Blvd. at Tenth Ave., thence to St. Theresa’s Church where a Requiem Mass will be offered at 10 a. m. Interment, St. Mary’s Cemetery, Oakland. Rosary Sunday at 8 p. m. Visiting hours until 9 p. m.

The image states Frank J., not his expanded middle name or birth date. The association with Frank James follows the supplied family research. The obituary spells Frances and Dorothy A., whereas the GEDCOM has Francis Catherine and Dorthy Agnes; these name differences are retained for comparison.
