Research notes
Mary McManus’s 1878 obituary identifies Patrick Timms as her son-in-law. Kevin identifies Patrick’s wife as Mary McManus Timms and their daughter as Ellen. Mary Timms’s death certificate names Thomas McManus and Mary Hopkins as her parents and gives the same East 22nd Street address. Ellen’s relationship is family-reported; her headstone inscription and supporting records still need review. No marriage date is assigned.
